Detachable guide handle for assistance/service dog harnesses.
Can be attached to both Y-front or straight-front harnesses.
 
This is our original single-layer BioThane® guide handle — lightweight, flexible, and easy to move. Unlike a traditional rigid handle, this one is softer and has a little give, making it a great option for handlers who don’t want something stiff or heavy.

Hardware Options
Choose from 5 hardware finishes to suit your style and lifestyle:
1. Stainless Steel – One of our most durable options. Rust-proof, scratch-resistant, and ready for all-weather wear.
(Note: Quick-release buckles and lobster clasps in this option are nickel/chrome plated.)
2. Brass – Equally durable and long-wearing, brass is a classic choice that resists rust and develops a natural patina over time. Ideal for tough conditions and everyday use.
3. Black – Matte black steel hardware with a sleek, modern look. A popular fashion finish that may show signs of wear with heavy use.
4. Rose Gold – A beautiful, soft pink-gold finish for a little extra glam. Best suited for light-to-moderate wear.
5. Multichrome (Rainbow) – Eye-catching and full of colour, this fashion hardware option features a vibrant colour-shift finish. Best enjoyed as a statement piece, as it may wear over time with rough use.
 
Note: Stainless steel and brass are our most recommended options for strength, durability, and long-term use – perfect for dogs who love the water, mud, or rough play. Fashion finishes like multichrome and rose gold are best suited for more gentle wear.
 
🔒 Quick Release Buckle Option
 
We also offer quick release buckles instead of clasps for attaching your handle.
 
If you choose this option, it’s best to order a harness at the same time so we can ensure the buckles are fitted correctly. Where we would normally place a D-ring on the harness, we instead fit the male half of the quick release buckle. The female half of the buckle is then attached to your handle.
 
This ensures your handle and harness connect seamlessly and securely.
