WHO ARE WE?
THE FACE BEHIND BOWIE AND CO
Hi, I'm Abbie, the proud creator of Bowie and Co.
​
Bowie is my 3-year-old multipurpose service dog. He is a blue merle border collie. He was my inspiration to starting up my online shop, which lead to naming our store Bowie and Co.
​
As a service dog, Bowie assists me in everyday life to help alleviate the effects of my disabilities. He provides mobility, medical alert, guide and psychiatric assistance.
​
When off duty, Bowie is a full-time farm dog. He loves chasing the quad bike, swimming in the creek, rolling in mud and playing in the sand.
For everyday use, Bowie needed a fashionable all-purpose waterproof collar, which led us to the discovery of BioThane®.
BioThane is a strong, sturdy, durable material in many beautiful colours. This was a product that so many pets needed in their life, and we knew we had to share it with others.

MEET OUR BRAND AMBASSADOR
Introducing Emily, our brand ambassador, and assistant BioThane crafter
Emily is our pet market brand ambassador, who helps run our market stalls. She is the designer behind our awesome market display and also assists in crafting some of our beautiful BioThane gear. We couldn't run our market stalls without her!
Emily has a beautiful 11 year old Siberian Husky named Leo.
Leo likes to help out in our workshop by eating lots of treats and getting lots of pats.

Introducing our magical wrapping elf, Fleur

Fleur hand wraps and packages all of our orders that are shipped out
Fleur lives in South East Queensland and has a 8-year-old Staffy, Alva.
Alva is an outgoing and adventurous farm dog, and loves to help test the durability of our products. She takes her biothane gear through creeks, bushes, mud and sand, to ensure our products hold up in all conditions.​

INTRODUCING OUR SOCIAL MEDIA WIZ
Meet Jess, our very talented Social Media Marketer
Jess has a multipurpose assistance dog named Atlas - a gorgeous 2-year-old Goldendoodle, who is Jess's lifeline, and helps them tremendously in their day-to-day life. Jess has several disabilities, and Atlas is able to mitigate the effects of their disabilities by assisting Jess with mobility, medical alerts and psychiatric tasks.

Jess is in charge of our social media marketing on both Facebook and Instagram and is responsible for our wonderful Instagram Shopping feature on our page.

Meet Keltie, the designer of our neoprene chest plates
Keltie has a multipurpose assistance dog, Altaïr - a beautiful 5-year-old Samoyed. Altaïr does a range of psychiatric, medical alert, and mobility tasks.
​
Keltie designs and sews the neoprene chest plates that we use with our biothane harnesses. This material works amazing with our harnesses as is sturdy, water-resistant, and comfortable to wear.

MEET OUR AMAZING GRAPHIC DESIGN ARTIST
Introducing Lauren, the talent behind our digital art
Lauren has a multipurpose assistance dog named Coda. Coda is a beautiful 5-year-old Rough Collie with a big personality.
Coda alerts and responds to Lauren's medical conditions, allowing Lauren her independence back in day-to-day life.

Lauren creates our digital art for our website, measuring guides and even art featured on our mail packaging!
