Hi, I’m Abbie — founder, maker, and full-time dog mum to the one and only Bowie, a blue merle Border Collie and multipurpose service dog.
Bowie is one of a kind. He’s the reason this business exists — both as my inspiration and as our official product tester (and mud-roller-in-chief).
When he’s off duty, he’s a full-time farm dog who thrives on speed, mischief, and dirt. Naturally, he needed gear that could keep up — waterproof, durable, customisable, and tough enough for any adventure.
Enter: BioThane®.
What started as a quest for a decent collar turned into Bowie & Co. — creating handcrafted, heavy-duty gear that actually looks good.

MEET OUR ENGRAVING, PAINTING & TAG MASTER: JAKE
Custom tags? Personalised engraving? That’s all Jake.
Jake is the laser-wielding wizard behind our engraved collars, handmade ID tags, and assistant BioThane crafting. Every piece is designed and engraved in-house — with great precision and questionable snacks.
Jake is kept in line by their service dog Clover, a high-speed Border Collie who lives to chase, roll in things, and generally cause a scene. She’s our unofficial quality control officer and very committed to durability testing (read: chaos).

MEET OUR PACKAGING QUEEN: FLEUR
Wrapping wizard. Vibe curator. Card-writing connoisseur.
Fleur is the hands and heart behind every parcel that leaves our workshop — carefully wrapped, stickered, and occasionally sealed with dog hair.
She works alongside Alva, a Staffy with no off-switch who spends her time bounding through mud, creeks, sand and bushland. If Alva can’t destroy it, it’s officially Bowie & Co. approved.
MEET FRANKIE: OUR SOCIAL MEDIA WIZ AND DIGITAL DYNAMO
Frankie is the creative force behind our social media magic. They’re the mastermind behind those late-night reels that keep you giggling and the witty responses that light up our comments section.
Fueled by oat milk lattes, a love of all things quirky, and a talent for turning dog photos into viral gold, Frankie brings a spark of fun to everything they touch.
Alongside them is Pickle, their scruffy rescue pup who’s always ready to test out new gear and provide endless inspiration.

Meet Donna, the maker behind our neoprene chest plates
Donna is the creative hands behind our neoprene chest plates, which are sewn with care and precision to perfectly complement our Biothane harnesses. The material she works with is sturdy, water-resistant, and super comfortable — ideal for everyday wear.
She’s joined in the studio by her Maple and Ruby, who keep her company while she works and occasionally sneak off with the scraps.
MEET OUR AMAZING GRAPHIC DESIGN ARTIST: INDIGO
Indigo is the creative mind behind our custom digital art seen on our website and measuring guides. With a background in illustration and branding, they bring a unique blend of style and storytelling to every piece. Indigo works closely with our team (and their very opinionated cat, Crouton) to ensure each design is thoughtful, personal, and one-of-a-kind.
