Custom Fit + Flexible Adjustment
Each collar is made to your dog’s exact neck size, and your measurement becomes the midpoint of the adjustment range.
(Smaller neck sizes may have a shorter adjustment range to accommodate the handle without bulk.)

Gives you easy control for close handling, quick redirection, or navigating busy environments.
 
 
Handle Height Measurement
 
Measure vertically from the base of your dog’s collar (or neck) up to where your hand naturally sits when holding the handle.
This gives us the total handle height so it sits comfortably in your hand without extra slack or bulk.
 
Most orders don’t require custom handle sizing — our standard height works beautifully for the majority of dogs.
Only request a custom height if you need it to sit at a specific spot for training or accessibility use.

Hardware Options
Choose from 3 finishes to suit your dog’s vibe:
1. Stainless Steel – One of our most durable options. Rust-proof, scratch-resistant, and ready for all-weather wear.
2. Brass – Equally durable and long-wearing, brass is a classic choice that resists rust and develops a natural patina over time. Ideal for tough conditions and everyday use.
3. Black – Matte black steel hardware with a sleek, modern look. A popular fashion finish that may show signs of wear with heavy use.
 
Note: Stainless steel and brass are our most recommended options for strength, durability, and long-term use – perfect for dogs who love the water, mud, or rough play. Fashion finishes like black, rose gold, and multichrome are best suited for more gentle wear.
 
Please note: All Cobra® buckles are available in black only, regardless of your chosen hardware finish. This ensures maximum durability and maintains the structural integrity of the buckle.
 
Why Upgrade to Cobra?
Standard quick-release buckles can become brittle over time or pop open under pressure. The Cobra buckle offers superior security and durability—perfect for strong pullers, working dogs, or any dog that’s just that extra.
 
Delivery Estimate
 
For our 1” Cobra Collars, we use a slightly thinner style of BioThane® than our standard stock, and the material will need to be ordered in specifically for your strap.
 
Please allow up to an additional week for the material to arrive before we begin production. We’ll get started as soon as it lands and keep you updated every step of the way!
